KAYLEIGH Brewster founder of Australian Street Aid Project: wow, you are truly amazing.

I hope everyone that has the capability to give money to help you make this happen does help you in doing so.

Anyone can become homeless in the blink of an eye through no fault of their own.

Boxing Day 2019 I was shocked and stunned to see a young homeless girl who looked about 14-15 years old sleeping on a cold bluestone paved Melbourne sidewalk street.

And I was even more shocked to see people walking past doing nothing at all.

For the record I did ask this young girl if she needed or wanted my help.

I was told: “Thank you for asking Miss, but I’m OK.”

And then this young girl went on to say she sleeps in the day because it’s too dangerous at night.

Thank you Kayleigh Brewster for seeing a need to do something and having the get up and go to do something about it.

If only the world had more people like you.
