The Mackay Cricket Association has reached the halfway stage of the season, with close ladders creating bottlenecks across the grades.

Brothers are leading the charge in division one, with five wins from seven matches in first grade, while Pioneer Valley is holding on to division two’s top spot.

Pioneer Valley’s ladies team is the only undefeated side remaining in 2021-22, with eight wins and a draw from its nine games.
