The Mackay and District Rugby League season is in the books for another year, and now it’s time to reflect on the players who made a difference in the year 2024.

While sheer volume of tries scored is far from the perfect metric for determining the best players in the league, it’s hard to deny that the guys who are prolific in the role of scoring points are a critical piece of a successful team.

In order to qualify for this list, players had to score at least six tries in the 2024 MDRL season and also have their name visible on the association’s website.
