Quad bike rider crushed in rollover on rural property west of Mackay
A woman was injured in a quad bike incident south of Mackay less than 24 hours after a man was crushed when his quad flipped on a rural cattle property.

A woman has suffered rib injuries after falling from a quad bike less than 24 hours after a man was crushed by a quad on a rural property west of Mackay.
RACQ CQ Rescue flew the woman, believed to be in her 30s, from St Lawrence to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition sometime about noon Wednesday.
It is unknown if she was the only rider or a passenger on the ATV.
This comes less than 24 hours after the Mackay-based rescue chopper flew 200km to airlift a man, believed to be in his 60s, from a cattle property north of Glenden.
The man was suffered serious injuries including a crushed pelvis when he was trapped under the heavy vehicle on Tuesday night.
It is understood the quad bike had been travelling about 50km/h when it hit a wheel rut and flipped.
Paramedics called on the rescue chopper for help about 7.40pm. The flight crew included a doctor and critical care paramedic landed on scene about 8.30pm.
The man was sedated and loaded into the helicopter about 9.50pm arriving at Mackay Base Hospital about 40 minutes later in a stable condition.
The task took about four hours in total and on arrival back at base, RACQ CQ Rescue chopper was sent to transfer a cardiac patient from Proserpine Hospital to Mackay.
As at September 2 there have been six quad bike fatalities in Australia in 2021, with two of those in Queensland and both involved rollovers.
In 2020 there were 20 quad bike fatalities, nine of these were in Queensland. Of those nine, four were rollovers.
