A WOMAN is accused of impersonating a police officer during a night out in Mackay.
Emma May Forster is facing three charges from alleged conduct within the Mackay Safe Night Precinct on September 19 this year.

She is charged with failing to leave a licensed premises – The Gallery Lounge and Bar, contravening a police direction to state her name and address and assuming designation or description of police officer.
If convicted the maximum penalty for impersonating a police officer is a fine up to $13,345.
Defence solicitor Cassandra Adorni-Braccesi, of Wallace and Wallace Lawyers, said this was the first mention in Mackay Magistrates Court and she sought an adjournment.

Ms Adorni-Braccesi said she would be making submissions to prosecution in relation to the charge of allegedly impersonating a police officer.
The case was adjourned to later this month and Ms Forster’s bail was enlarged.
