Matters against a man accused of possessing almost $1m worth of heroin in Mackay have reached the supreme court.

Van Dung Vu is charged with possessing a dangerous drug in excess of 200g on March 23, 2021.

It is alleged the Australian Border Force intercepted a package – later delivered to Kathy’s Spirit Nails at Caneland Central – that allegedly contained heroin worth about $993,000.
