A 27-year-old woman has allegedly defrauded her former Mackay-based employer of $65,010, a Mackay court has heard.
Magistrate James Morton said Tarhynee Patricia Maree Shepherd was charged with dishonestly causing a detriment to Incitec Pivot Limited — trading as Incitec Pivot Fertilisers — between the dates of October 20 and 25 last year.
Incitec Pivot is an ASX-listed international company making industrial chemicals, fertilisers and explosives, with its Mackay fertiliser distribution centre along Spiller Ave near the harbour.
Defence solicitor Robyn Cathcart was acting for Ms Shepherd who was not present in Mackay Magistrates Court on Friday, saying her client worked on a property west of Cloncurry.
Ms Cathcart said Ms Shepherd sought a copy of the prosecution’s evidence against her.
Mr Morton ordered the brief of evidence be supplied to Ms Shepherd by December 16 and set a committal mention date for next year.
