A stalker left “bizarre” and “disgusting” notes in a young mother’s mailbox offering hundreds of dollars or “any other substance” to “lay some d-ck” with her or her young daughters. VIDEO

Mackay man faces court for 'disgusting, appalling' stalking of mother and young daughters

A Mackay man admitted to leaving “disgusting” notes in the mailbox of a 33-year-old mother offering money and drugs to have sex with her or her five daughters, aged between 14 and 2.

Ryan Willis Young was 19 when he began leaving the written notes, complete with his phone number, between March 10 and April 16, 2022.

Crown prosecutor Shannon Sutherland read out several of the notes to Mackay District Court, which Judge Gregory Lynham described as “appalling”.

“I was wondering if you’d be keen on some drinks, my shout or even any other substances you may like … give me a message anytime and I’ll pop around and lay some d-ck,” Ms Sutherland read of Young’s notes.

“Good money short f-ck, please hook me up with either you or one of your daughters. Don’t care about age, I’ll give you either money or drugs, don’t care which.

“I have a seven inch d-ck, my sister has had it a few times.”

Ms Sutherland said a man was seen on CCTV cameras leaving a note on the home’s front doorstep while the eldest daughter was home alone, reading “I can supply some d-ck while your mum is away”.

She said the mother made several complaints to Mackay police, who then searched Young’s home and at Telstra Canelands.

Police found 2.2g of cannabis in his home and a search of his phone revealed he had supplied 3.5g to another male in late 2021, the court heard.

The now-22 year old represented himself in pleading guilty to stalking, possessing drugs, and supplying drugs.

Young himself described the notes as “absolutely disgusting” and told the court he was “going through a rough patch, mentally” at the time of his offending.

Young requested no convictions be recorded as to protect his future job prospects as a salesman.

Judge Lynham said the “reprehensible” notes were “extremely concerning in that it expresses a sexual interest in children”.

While Young had no criminal history, the judge said Young’s offending indicated he would “benefit from ongoing supervision”.

Young was sentenced to a two year probation order and no convictions were recorded.

Judge Lynham also put in place a restraining order to protect the mother and her children.
