A Mackay man allegedly caught up in a Queensland Police sting that led to the arrest of 58 people has been mentioned in court.
Reece Stuart William Hogg was arrested as part of Operation Limerick, which uncovered a total of 293 alleged offences.
The 21 year old is charged with four counts of supplying dangerous drugs (cocaine, meth and marijuana), five counts of possessing dangerous drugs (meth, MDMA, marijuana, buprenorphine and alprazolam).
Mr Hogg is also charged with three counts of possessing weapons (handgun, knuckle dusters and knife) and one count each of possessing shortened firearm, cash suspected of being proceeds of a drug offence and ammunition.
In a wide ranging search “everywhere and anywhere”, Operation Limerick allegedly uncovered drugs, firearms and cash at 21 properties.
Mr Hogg is currently on bail and has not entered pleas.
The court heard he was not present as he currently worked as a concreter on a Rockhampton farm.
Magistrate Damien Dwyer heard that Mr Hoggs matters were delayed while legal representatives waited for forensic analysis certificates related to his alleged firearm offences.
Mr Hogg’s matters were adjourned until November 28 for mention and his bail was enlarged.
