Police investigate violent fight between Mackay State High School teens
The savage clash involved two boys aged 14 and 17 years.

Police have confirmed a 14-year-old boy has been dealt with under the Youth Justices Act over a brutal fight between Mackay State High School students that was filmed by other teens.
The horrific footage of the fight, which occurred on April 22 at South Mackay, shows one of the boys punching the other numerous times in the head as onlookers initially egged him on.

Police were investigating the fight between the 14 year old and a 17-year-old boy.
"A 14-year-old boy has been dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justices Act," a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said.
"Investigations into the matter are continuing."
It is understood the fight was consensual. In the footage, which was initially posted online before Education Queensland had it removed, both boys were at first seen trading blows before on was brought to the ground.
It is at this point the other boy punched him about nine times to the head until another boy intervenes, pushing him off the teen on the ground.

Education Queensland, in a statement, said the fight occurred away from school grounds and outside of school hours - the students involved were "being dealt with in line with the school's Student Code of Conduct".
An EQ spokesman said the students involved as well as bystanders to the fight would be attending a special information session with Mackay police officers "to address and discuss inappropriate conduct of this nature within the community".
