A SELF-EMPLOYED Mackay music teacher accused of grooming a child during lessons is banned from going near anyone aged under 18 years unless it is necessary in daily life.
Initial details of the shocking allegations were first released yesterday prompting a police warning for parents.

The 39 year old, who is facing multiple charges, was granted bail on Wednesday under strict conditions including twice weekly reporting, residential and a no contact order against one person.
The man, who has not been named in case it may identify the child, is also not allowed to contact anyone under the age of 18 years unless the contact is incidental and required to obtain the necessities of life.
It is alleged the offending occurred between January last year and earlier this month during private music lessons at a home studio in Mackay.

The man is charged with grooming, two counts of indecent treatment and using the internet to procure a child under 16 years old to engage in or submit to sexual activity.
The case will be mentioned again in August.
