Man dies in bizarre forklift incident in Middlemount
A Brisbane man had died after an early morning mishap when he took a forklift from his work premises to a nearby football grounds in central Queensland.

A man has died in a bizarre forklift crash in Central Queensland.
Paramedics were called to treat a man in a critical condition after the forklift rolled, initially trapping his foot off Black Butt Court in Middlemount at 2.39am.
Tragically the 35 year old man from Brisbane died from his injuries.
It is understood he had taken the forklift from his work premise and was driving it to nearby footy grounds when the crash occurred.
The forklift has come off the road around a bend – he was trapped and died.
Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
