Mackay police are calling on the public to help find a man they want to speak with over reports a woman was indecently touched at Caneland Central.
Police believe he may be able to help with their inquiries.
Initial investigations suggest the man went into a hair salon inside the Mangrove Rd shopping complex about 4.45pm and requested a hair treatment.
Police say when the man was seated at the basin having his hair washed, he inappropriately touched a female hairdresser on the leg.
The man was immediately asked to leave the salon.
Police have now released an image of a man they wish to speak to in a bid to help with their inquiries.
Police say he is described as being in his mid to late 20s with a distinctive tattoo featuring a triangle with an eye in the centre and brickwork.
He was wearing a cream-coloured T-shirt and has a sandy blonde mullet with shaved sides.
Anyone with information that could identify the man is encouraged to contact police.
