It is alleged the driver was reportedly travelling in a manner deemed “quite reckless” at speeds up to 140kmh on the highway at Farleigh.

The occupants of the other vehicle, a 70-year-old man and 68-year-old woman, were taken to Mackay Base Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The sole occupant of the Isuzu, a 22-year-old Mackay man, was arrested at the scene.
