A young Mackay father will fight to clear his name after being charged with filming a woman’s genitals without her consent.
Lance Robert Cameron, 22, faced Mackay Magistrates Court on Monday.
The court heard the Eton dad allegedly visually recorded a woman’s genital region without her consent at Moranbah on an unknown date between November 1, 2022 and April 30, 2023.
The court further heard the alleged recording occurred under circumstances where an adult would expect to be afforded privacy.
Beckey, Knight and Elliott solicitor Laura Santin said her client intended to plead not guilty to the charge.
Acting Magistrate Stephen Byrne ordered a brief of evidence be prepared by June 24 for a hearing on July 10.
Mr Cameron’s bail was enlarged.
