A Proserpine father has been warned to “be really careful” after he fronted court for his fourth drug-driving offence in three years.
Dyllan William Clarkson had a cocktail of substances in his system when he was stopped on March 19, 2021 at Bakers Creek for a roadside drug test.
Mackay Magistrates Court heard Clarkson returned a positive test for methylamphetamines and marijuana.

Prosecutor Harry Coburn told the court there was no explanation of when Clarkson had last used drugs before driving and said an aggravating factor was the combination of substances and that he had been on a suspended sentence at the time.
The court heard Clarkson appeared in court in March for drug-driving when his suspended sentence was fully activated and he was placed on parole.
The 29 year old pleaded guilty to drug-driving while on a probationary licence.
Defence solicitor Sean Gibbs, of Fisher Dore Lawyers, told the court his client had spent four months in custody on charges that were discontinued in January.
Mr Gibbs said his client accepted that he needed to sort out his issue with drugs.
The court heard any driving disqualification would be cumulative to the one he was already on and as a result would not start until September 2021.
Magistrate Bronwyn Hartigan said Clarkson “clearly had a long relationship with drugs” and warned him he needed “to be really careful” as this was his fourth drug-driving offence in three years.
Clarkson was fined $750 and disqualified from driving for six months, which will begin in September.
