Detectives have taken $100,000 worth of drugs off the streets following a police raid at a Mount Pleasant property.
Officers executing a search warrant on Tuesday morning allegedly uncovered 13.5kg of marijuana, meth, cocaine and $7200 in cash at the home.
The drugs and money were seized.
“Detectives from Mackay Criminal Investigation Branch searched a Mount Pleasant address in relation to (alleged) drug offences,” CIB acting senior sergeant Tim Heller said.
“As a result of that search warrant police have located and seized marijuana and cash.”
Senior Sergeant Heller said the drugs and money were allegedly found stashed inside plastic toolbox at the home.
The drugs are valued about $100,000.
“This is a significant find in a suburban residence in Mackay,” Senior Sergeant Tim Heller said.
Police will allege a 35-year-old man who lived at the property possessed and supplied dangerous drug.
He has been charged with three counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count of possessing drug utensils in relation to a grinder.
He will appear in Mackay Magistrates Court in December.
Investigations are continuing.
