A woman and a child were taken to hospital after a car and truck collided on a bridge on a major highway west of Mackay.
The Peak Downs Highway has been impacted at Fiery Creek bridge at Nebo.
Emergency services included police, fire and paramedic crews were called to the site following the crash, which was reporting about 6.55pm Sunday.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said initial reports indicated both vehicles were travelling in the same direction and the car has collided with the back of the truck.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said there were no entrapments and the occupants of the vehicle had self extricated.
One fire crew was on scene and another on the way - they were helping to clean up the scene, she said.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed paramedics were transporting two people - a woman with arm pain and a child with a head laceration - in a stable condition to hospital.
A man was also assessed at the scene but did not need to go to hospital.
