Alyssa Maree Stockton faces Mackay Magistrates court for alleged car theft

A Mackay teenager is back in court after allegedly committing 11 offences in less than 100 hours while on probation.

A Mackay teen has allegedly committed 11 offences including three car thefts in less than 100 hours.

Alyssa Maree Stockton was additionally charged for three drug-related matters including possession of methamphetamine and marijuana on September 9.

The 18 year old faced Mackay Magistrates Court on October 8 where the court heard she had been placed on an 18-month probation less than three weeks ago.

Since then, she had allegedly committed a number of offences the majority of which occurred between October 4 and October 7.

Ms Stockton did not apply for bail and appeared via videolink as Magistrate Dwyer read the charges to the court.

The court heard the recent alleged activity started on October 4 in Glenella where Ms Stockton charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle.

Three offences were alleged to have occurred on October 5 in Glenella and West Mackay, resulting in charges of stealing from a private dwelling, receiving tainted property namely car keys and of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Three offences allegedly occurred on October 6 included unlawful use of a motor vehicle and not stopping for police in Mackay and driving without a licence after being disqualified in Mount Pleasant.

Four offences allegedly occurred on October 7 including dangerous driving, failing to pull over for police and driving without a licence in Mount Pleasant and possessing ammunition in West Mackay.

The court heard Ms Stockton was also charged for allegedly entering a West Mackay home and stealing property from it between September 30 and October 5.

Stockton applied to have the matters remanded and did not apply for bail.

She is expected to appear before Mackay Magistrates Court on September 28.
