Police corner wannabe car thief in shipping container

POLICE have arrested a man for breaking and entering into a Paget holding yard this morning.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said they were alerted to the incident on Centurion Drive about 6.45am after a person living on the Sunshine Coast spotted the offender live on CCTV.

The 27 year old South Mackay man was allegedly wearing a gloves and face mask and "trying to gain access to a vehicle".
"We found him in a shipping container at the front of the holding yard," the spokesman said.
He was taken into custody and is expected to be charged over the break-in.
