Roland Arona Tito Pryor appeared in Mackay Magistrates Court on Tuesday, but there was no application for bail.

His alleged offending spans from February 10 to April 22 across Mackay.

He was remanded in custody and matters were adjourned to May 8.

Four people were in court for his matter with one yelling “love ya” and Mr Pryor walked out of view via the watch house video link.

A 17-year-old Andergrove boy is facing 12 charges including car theft, three counts of enter premises and commit and unlicensed driving.

The incident played out on Monday morning after officers were called to a softball field on Beaconsfield Rd in Beaconsfield after witnesses reported spotting an allegedly stolen dark grey Nissan Navara ute.

Police alleged the ute was stolen from a property on Fitzroy Court, Mount Pleasant the day before.

QPS have alleged about 9.30am Monday the car crashed on Oak St in Andergrove and three people fled the scene on foot, but police found them nearby and took them into custody.

It is understood prior to their arrest the three were seen allegedly jumping on the ute’s bonnet and waving in the air what appeared to be a firearm, later determined to be a gelblaster

It is further understood a citizen, who was driving a ute with a trailer attached, then rammed the 2019 Navara inside the Coles car park along Oak St, prompting the three persons inside to flee the scene on foot.

Officers arrested one of the occupants, a male, next to the footpath outside of Woolworths on Oak St at 9.50am as multiple other crews dashed down the grassed easement running between the supermarket and properties on Geoffrey Nolan Dr.

They arrested another person in the easement soon after as officers continued scouring backyards, jumping over fences, in search of the third alleged offender until shortly after 10am, police arrested a person at Westminster Lodge, a retirement community on Don Wright Crt, off Geoffrey Nolan Dr, that backs onto the easement.

A lodge resident, who did not wish to be named, said the male had allegedly been hiding in the bushes underneath his window.

Police officers back at Coles were redirecting motorists until the forensics team could arrive as the ditched Navara was blocking one lane of traffic in the car park.

The vehicle had significant damage to its front end, long grass wedged under the rock sliders, and there were multiple jerry cans in the tray.

The court was closed when the 17 year old’s matters were mentioned. While the 20 year old’s matters have been adjourned to May 22.
