Paramedics rush to two-car smash in Mackay’s west

Three people were taken to hospital after a two cars collided in Ooralea

THREE people have been injured in a two-car smash at Ooralea overnight.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said paramedics were called to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Boundary Rd and Cowleys Rd just before 10pm.

Witnesses at the scene said the crash spread glass across the road.

One of the people injured reported back pain to paramedics while another suffered shoulder and neck paid.

All three were taken to Mackay Base Hospital in stable conditions.
