Multiple fire crews are working to contain a blaze that took hold of two vehicles in grassland at Pinnacle.
Calls came in about 10.50am Sunday about the fire off Mackay Eungella Rd.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said the fire was about 50 sqm in size in scrubland close to a shed and house.
Reports indicated the fire also ripped through two cars that were in the area.
Multiple fire and rural fire service crews were on scene fighting the blaze on all sides, as well as wetting down the two vehicles.
It is understood the fire was contained just after 11.30am and crews remain on scene.
