There are serious concerns for a motorcyclist who has suffered “life threatening” injuries in a motorcyle crash in a small town in the Isaac region.
He is being treated by multiple paramedics after a serious crash on Chappell St in Middlemount on Wednesday August 7, about two-and-a-half hours south-west of Mackay, as a rescue helicopter rushes to the scene.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said it looked like a single vehicle motorcycle crash had left a man with “significant injuries ... with head injuries one of the biggest concerns”.
He confirmed an RACQ CapRescue helicopter was coming from Rockhampton to transport the man to hospital.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said emergency services were called to the scene at 3.55pm.
He said there was no traffic advice at this stage.
It is understood the Forensic Crash Unit have been tasked to the crash.
