Man involved in car rollover off Peak Downs Hwy in Coppabella

A car has rolled into an embankment southwest of Mackay and a man is dealing with a potential broken leg in separate crashes.

Ambulance are responding to two incidents in the Mackay Region, including an e-scooter traffic crash in the CBD

A car has rolled into an embankment southwest of Mackay.

Police and paramedics were called to a scene on the Peak Downs Highway, five kilometres west of Coppabella.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said a man in his 50s was able to free himself from the car and declined assessment.

Meanwhile, paramedics are responding to an incident in the Mackay CBD where an e-scooter rider was hit by a car on the corner of Melton and Gordon St.

The rider has reportedly suffered a potential broken leg.
