A man at work on Good Friday fell six metres from a Bakers Creek roof.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said emergency services rushed to Main St after receiving the call about 10.05am.
She said the man, reported to be in his 30s, was being assessed for back pain.
It is understood it was a workplace incident.
The spokeswoman said the man was taken to Mackay Base Hospital.
