A MACKAY sex worker jailed for possessing a commercial quantity of the drug ice has faced court for a second sentence to be handed down.

Debby Suk Ching Lau, 35, was sentenced to 15 months jail in the Supreme Court in Mackay on February 9.

Police carried out a raid and discovered more than 20g of methamphetamines (ice) in Lau's home, which she used to service between 20 and 25 men each week.

While Lau was waiting for parole eligibility on May 9, she faced Mackay Magistrates Court via videolink from prison on Wednesday.

Lau pleaded guilty to five charges, after one charge - possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of an offence under the Drugs Misuse Act - was dropped by the prosecution.

Magistrate Simon Young convicted Lau, but did not punish her further, for possessing drugs, possessing property suspected of being used in the commission of a drug offence and possessing drug utensils.

Lau, who was represented by Wallace & Wallace Lawyers solicitor Cassandra Adorni-Braccesi, was fined $300 for unlawfully possessing a weapon and $200 for contravening police.

No terms of imprisonment were imposed and parole eligibility was not affected.
