PROSECUTORS are still waiting on DNA evidence in the case against an NRL agent accused of killing a former Kingaroy jockey.
Paul Bruce Sutton, a Sydney-based player manager, is accused of manslaughter over the death of Shaun Miles on May 24 this year during a fight at Kingaroy.
Sutton is believed to have been staying in the South Burnett town to watch the Queensland Open Schoolboy Rugby League carnival.
The Crown told Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday that they were still waiting on DNA evidence and a statement from an arresting officer to complete their brief before they could make submissions.
The case was adjourned until January 28.
Sutton remains on bail.
