Jet ski strikes woman at Lake Proserpine
There was mayhem on the water in the Whitsundays as one woman was hospitalised following a jetski strike and another required medical treatment for a jellyfish sting.

A jetski at a popular North Queensland lake has struck a swimmer in the head in what was one of three water-related incidents in the Whitsundays.
An Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman said paramedics were called to Lake Proserpine at 2.30pm with reports of a jetski incident.
The spokeswoman said a woman aged in her 40s received a head injury after the jetski struck her, and she was taken to Proserpine Hospital.
A police spokeswoman said they were not notified about the crash.
Further east at Hamilton Island, a jellyfish stung a woman about 4pm.
The QAS spokesman said a medevac chopper was not required, and they had not determined the jellyfish species.
Then at Airlie Beach, it was understood a jetski had broken down shortly before noon.
