Six people rushed to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Mackay

Six people were rushed to hospital on Sunday night after a multi-vehicle crash involving a P-plater in Rural View left one car on its head.

Paramedics were called to the accident on Sologinkins Rd, Mackay Bucasia Rd at about 6.42pm on March 23.

A woman in her 30s suffered shoulder injuries while another woman in her 50s suffered head injuries.

A man in his 60s and a young woman suffered minor injuries.

All four were taken to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition.

A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said no-one was trapped in their vehicles.

The road was closed in both directions with police directing traffic along the intersection.
