This includes a new lecture theatre and gym, while the existing gym would make room for an extended foyer.
College principal Jim Ford said the works would take the school into an "exciting future".
"A refurbishment of the hall revitalises our Performing Arts precinct and provides our outstanding music and dance programs the much-needed room to move and create," Mr Ford said.
"(A) college gym for physical education, team strength training and other special events will make for a very busy hub when completed."
