Fire crews called to house fire at Rural View

Three fire crews were initially called for the reported blaze with the first arriving to some smoke issuing from the property.

Emergency crews were called to a house fire at Rural View early Friday.
Three fire crews were initially called for the reported blaze with the first arriving about 5.15am to some smoke issuing from the property.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said a small fire was in part of the home and it was out by 5.30am.
One fire crew remained at the Morehead Drive address to dampen down any hotspots.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene but it is understood the fire was not suspicious and no one was injured.
