Fastest growing schools across the Mackay Isaac Whitsunday region revealed
FULL LIST: One school almost tripled its numbers and another two doubled while five schools had their enrolments slashed by half or more.

A Mackay school has topped the list for the rate of growing enrolment numbers across the wider Mackay Isaac Whitsunday region.
Farleigh State School had a 260 per cent increase in student numbers over the five years from 2016 to 2021, data from the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority has shown.
Its total pupils soared from just 20 to 72.
The next fastest growing schools were St Lawrence State School which more than doubled its students from five to 12 and Dundula State School which went from 41 pupils to 88.
At the opposite end of the growth rate were five schools that had their enrolment numbers slashed by half or more.
They included Hayman Island State School which went from 10 students to four, Bloomsbury State School dropping from 83 pupils to 38, Gargett State School halving from 20 to 10, Hamilton Island State School shrinking from 68 to 34 and Merinda State School reducing from 86 pupils to 34.
