A family has had a lucky escape after a fire broke out in a Beaconsfield home.
Two Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews responded to reports of a house fire in Fraser Court about 2.30pm.
Loud bangs were heard coming from inside the home before firefighters arrived on scene and extinguished the blaze.
No-one was inside the home at the time.
Initial investigations at the property indicated an electrical spark may have started the fire, causing minor damage inside.
