Motorists in the Mackay area endured a three-day disruption in Glenella as roadworks were completed.
The Davey Street Overpass was demolished and replaced with an upgraded bridge, allowing for improved safety and reduced congestion.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads completed the works as a part of its $120.35 million project to boost traffic flow in the region.

Additional lanes will be constructed from Ron Camm Bridge to Bald Hill Road.
