Could your town benefit from a free fire truck?

How your rural fire service could secure one of seven LandCruiser light attack fire trucks on offer.

THE Rural Fire Brigade Association of Queensland is giving away seven Toyota LandCruiser light attack fire trucks.

RFBAQ is looking for brigades without trucks to apply for the vehicles which will be fuelled, maintained and insured by Rural Fire Service Queensland.

RFBAQ general manager Justin Choveaux said the trucks were entirely paid for by "fantastic" donations.

"We are now fundraising for an eighth (truck)," Mr Choveaux said.

To apply for a truck, head to the RFBAQ's website and look for the form "OBM-143".
