If you use the dump, swimming pool, own a pet, want to build a shed or are planning on saying “I do” at a park, you’ll soon be paying more.

Mackay councillors adopted the 2021-2022 fees and charges schedules that will raise the price of more than 740 fees and charges from July 1.

While the majority will rise by about 2 per cent, some charges such as dumping tyres with rims attached will cost almost twice as much.
