For the first time Mackay dogs can experience the absolute joy of an essential show experience, the dagwood dog.
One For Each Paw is a gourmet dog treat business, specialising in replicating the “human” food experience for our canine friends.
Angela and Shane Ingram own and operate the business and are the designers behind the eye-catching treats that are set up shop at the Mackay Show.
The new dagwood dog was made in celebration of show season and consists of a kangaroo treat wrapped in a dog friendly biscuit.
“It’s all about relating to the experience of the show,” Mrs Ingram said.
“It’s so people can bring it home to their fur babies because they can’t bring them to the show.”

Mrs Ingram also spilt the beans on what were each Queensland regions’ dog treat preferences.
“Rockhampton was definitely pizzas and doughnuts.” Mrs Ingram said.
“Bundaberg was hot dogs.
“The Fraser Coast liked pretzels.”
But she said Pioneer Valley had been a mixed bag with an equal love of pretzels, hot dogs and doughnuts.
And with the Mackay Show the first in the state to feature doggie dagwood dogs, Mrs Ingram said she hoped they will become the regions favourite.
