A night of inspiration and Elvis Presley will echo through Harrup Park Country Club as three-time Olympian and co-founder of Happy Healthy You Lisa Curry returns to Mackay.

Curry will share her story about being a professional athlete, working mum, coach and wellbeing advocate while her husband Mark Andrew, a well-known Elvis tribute artist, will serenade the audience with some classic rock ‘n’ roll.

Curry wants her visit to Mackay to inspire a “light bulb moment” to create healthy lifestyle choices.

“I hope by sharing my experiences it helps motivate people to make simple changes that can create achievable and sustainable habits,” Curry said.

“I understand people are hesitant about exercise and eating well but for me its not about diving in head first.

“It’s about the small steps that can lead to bigger change.”

Curry said the evening is about bringing the community together and being surrounded by other people who also want to become better versions of themselves.

“We want to enjoy a fun night of laughs and entertainment, and maybe even a dance,” she said.

The pair will be on stage from 6pm til 9pm on Wednesday July 21.
