Election day is May 21 and it’s never been easier to vote.

See our table below for all the polling places across the country.

Early voting starts on May 9 and you are eligible to vote before election day if you meet any of the following criteria:

On election day, you are:

outside the electorate where you are enrolled to vote
more than 8km from a polling place
travelling
unable to leave your workplace to vote
seriously ill, infirm or due to give birth shortly (or caring for someone who is)
a patient in hospital and can‘t vote at the hospital
religious beliefs that prevent you from attending a polling place
in prison serving a sentence of less than three years or otherwise detained
a silent elector
a reasonable fear for your safety

You can vote early at one of the following polling places:

Mercury House: 38-40 Wellington St – Mackay

May 9 – May 13: 8am to 8pm

May 14: 9am to 4pm

May 16 – May 19: 8am to 8pm

May 20: 8am to 6pm

PCYC Whitsundays: 2489 Shute Harbour Rd – Airlie Beach

May 16 – May 19: 8.30am to 5.30pm

May 20: 8.30am to 6pm

Bowen PCYC: Corner of Hay St and Queens Rd – Bowen
