Emergency services respond to North Mackay multiple vehicle collisions

Emergency services are on the scene of crashes along Harbour road, North Mackay. It’s believed four vehicles are involved in the collisions. Follow our breaking story here.

There’s been a morning of chaos on North Mackay roads.

Emergency service crews were called to the corner of Harbour Road and Ungerer street in North Mackay just after 10.30am.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman confirmed one vehicle had struck a power pole along the street with the driver conscious at the scene after a suspected medical incident.

A passenger from one of the vehicles has been transported to Mackay Base Hospital

Three others have also been reported to be involved in a collision in separate incidents at the scene.

One road has been blocked along Harbour road while crews tend to the incident

It is not yet known the severity of the collisions.
