FOLLOWING her recent victory of scoring two places in the Lawyers Weekly’s ‘30 Top Lawyers Under 30 Awards’, Suzanne Brown has made a mark for Mackay on Queensland’s map once again.

FOLLOWING her recent victory of scoring two places in the Lawyers Weekly's '30 Top Lawyers Under 30 Awards', Suzanne Brown has made a mark for Mackay on Queensland's map once again.

The 29-year-old principal of McKay's Solicitors (pictured) has been named as one of the 'Top 20 under 40 Business Stars in Queensland'.

She has been paired alongside 19 other nominations, such as celebrities like Bindi Irwin, the founders of Jetts Fitness and Laura Geitz, after being nominated by the Queensland Law Society.

"I got a call from the Law Society one day and as soon as reception said they were on the phone, I thought 'oh no, what have I done'," she said. "It's not every day that I get a call from the Queensland Law Society.

"I feel very privileged.

"To have been selected out of all the lawyers in Queensland, and be placed alongside celebrities, is pretty astounding."

Mrs Brown is the only lawyer to have ever received two awards at the Under 30s national awards, and now to have been named is just the cherry on the cake.
