A Mackay region toddler was rushed to hospital after a snake bite at her house this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to a Beaconsfield private residence at 12:36pm after reports a toddler was bitten by a snake.
A QAS spokeswoman said the girl was bitten on the foot and was taken to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition.
The breed of snake is unknown at this stage.
