M1 crash: Two trucks crash at Pimpama, closing three lanes
The Pacific Motorway southbound on the Gold Coast was closed over six hours after a two-truck crash in which one overturned.

A two-truck crash on the M1 southbound on the Gold Coast has been cleared four hours after one rolled and spilt its load of gravel, closing three lanes and causing major delays for motorists.
The crash occurred south of exit 49 at Pimpama about 1.45pm with all corridors leading onto the Pacific Mwy southbound still experiencing significant delays and motorists warned to avoid the area.
All lanes had reopened by 8.15pm.
Police say gravel has spilt on to the carriageway as a result of the crash.

A QAS spokesman said the drivers of the two trucks were both treated at the scene and are stable.
One of them was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
The other declined transport to hospital.
