Lisa Curry shares news of passing of her mother

Less than two years after she lost her daughter, Lisa Curry has shared that another beloved family member has passed.

Former Olympian Lisa Curry has lost her mother less than two years after her daughter Jaimi Kenny passed away.

The former swimmer took to social media to share her fresh heartbreak, announcing her “beautiful mum slipped away peacefully” on Friday morning.

“My brother Scott travelled for 48 hours from Berlin, my sister Melanie and I continually counting down the days, hours and minutes to mum until he arrived,” she wrote on Instagram.

“She waited. We shared some last laughs, memories and lots of tears.”

She shared a photo of her mother Pat, 86, whom she had been unable to see for a month throughout pandemic lockdowns due to nursing home restrictions.

“Have a nice long sleep mum. We love you so much and we’ll all miss you.”

It comes after Curry shared her heartbreak over the loss of her daughter Jaimi, 33, online after she passed after suffering from an eating disorder in September 2020.

“Every sunrise, every sunset and every moment between. We miss you Jaimi,” She wrote on social media.
