A 26-year-old man has died after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a parked truck south of Brisbane.

A man has died after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a parked truck south of Brisbane overnight.

The crash happened in the eastbound lane of Compton Road at Kuraby just before 11.30pm on Tuesday.

Police gave first aid to the 26-year-old Slacks Creek man but he died at the scene of the crash shortly after.

Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are continuing, and police are asking anyone with information or vision of a black Yamaha FZ6-S in the area prior to the crash to contact them.
