A pedestrian, a woman aged in her 20s, has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a vehicle in Ipswich shortly about midnight on Thursday.

A woman has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a vehicle in Redbank shortly after midnight on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to the Ipswich Motorway about 12.03am to reports a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 20s, suffered significant life-threatening injuries in the crash.
She was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The occupants of the vehicle were assessed by paramedics but did not require treatment.
