Work site incident Ipswich: Man working in tree taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital

Paramedics rushed a man to hospital after he reportedly fell while working in a tree on a private property in Ipswich.

A man has been rushed to hospital after reportedly falling as high as 10 metres from a tree in Ipswich on Thursday morning.

Paramedics, including critical care, have taken the man to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

He suffered chest and back injuries after falling out of the tree on a private property at Sadliers Crossing just after 8am.

“It looks like a work site incident,” a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said.

“It looks like he was working in a tree.

“He is reported to have fallen between eight and 10 metres.”
