A toddler was rushed to hospital after nearly drowning on a Lockyer Valley property on Sunday evening.
Paramedics, including critical care, took the baby boy to Toowoomba Hospital from a private property in Winwill about 5.20pm.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the boy arrived at hospital in a stable condition and his condition improved dramatically during the time spent travelling up the range.
The incident is believed to have occurred in a dam on the property, which is about 10 minutes south of Gatton.
