Two men have been named in court over the shooting death of Carlo Piero Stewart at north Booval. One of the accused still remains in hospital.

Two men and a teenage boy charged over the fatal shooting of Logan man Carlo Piero Stewart have appeared in court at Ipswich today.

Tye Joshua Bickle, 28, from Logan Central, is charged with one count of murder and two counts of grievous bodily harm; Brayden Alan Wilson-Knight, 24, from North Booval, is charged with one count of murder and two counts of grievous bodily harm.

For legal reasons, the Queensland Times cannot name the 16-year-old who has been charged.

Mr Stewart, 31, died after allegedly being shot twice during a violent brawl at Baden Jones Way, North Booval between two groups of men about 5pm on Tuesday.

Lawyer Emily Fackender, representing Bickle, said he would not appear in person and he remained in police custody at hospital.

She sought for his matter to be adjourned to Ipswich Magistrates Court on August 18.

Bickle was remanded in custody by magistrate Jacqueline Payne to August 18 where the case will go into the committal stream for matters to be prosecuted by the Crown.

Accused Brayden Wilson-Knight did not appear when his matter was briefly mentioned.

Lawyer Shane McDowell from Russo Lawyers sought his matter be adjourned.

Prosecutor Sgt Paul Caldwell said he was a co-accused in the matter and sought the same court date as Bickle.

Magistrate Jacqueline Payne remanded Wilson-Knight in custody to a callover of cases on August 18.

As Mr McDowell walked from Ipswich Courthouse he was joined by family and friends of Wilson-Knight.

None of those present to support Wilson-Knight were willing to make any comment.

Police will allege they have established nine people were involved in the altercation near Keith Pennell Park on Baden Jones Way.

Four people were taken to hospital with a 28-year-old Logan man in the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious head injuries.

Police said Bickle and 16-year-old accused were both arrested after appearing injured at a house at Tivoli – on the opposite side of the Bremer River and some six kilometres from the brawl on Tuesday night.

Police will allege the incident was sparked by a dispute over property including a motorbike.
